Experience:
My parents enrolled me in a gymnastics class after I was already doing back handsprings in the front yard. It was just a class held at the community Rec center on the Air Force Base where we lived. We moved to Indiana when I was 10 years old, and I continued tumbling in my front yard because we did t have the money to enroll in classes. I started working at 14 and paid for my own classes, and then joined my high school gymnastics team. I went to Ball State University and studied Physical Ed and Health, and eventually discovered I just wanted to be in a gym. I moved to Burbank, CA, and coached Rec for 3 years, and then moved back to Indiana for a short time. I took a head coaching position for levels 3-5. I met my husband and moved here to Seattle, and started working at NW Aerials. I was there for 16 years, coaching everything from mom and tot classes to level 7. When NW Aerials closed, I came here to Alpha to coach the team.
